BOOKINGS

How do I purchase a ticket?

Tickets can be purchased online and on arrival from the Admissions desk. Tickets purchased online are discounted.

Are bookings required?

Show

Bookings are not required to visit Melbourne Skydeck. Tickets can be purchased on arrival from the Admissions desk or from our website.

Do I need to book an arrival time?

Show

An arrival time is not required for your visit, guests are welcome to arrive from 12pm to our last entry for General Admission tickets and from 12pm to 2 hours prior to our last entry for Admission and Experiences package tickets. For operating hours click here.

Can I add an experience when I arrive?

Experiences can be purchased either from our Admissions desk, the Voyager Theatre or Photoshop on level 88. An Admission ticket is required to purchase an experience.

I already have a ticket; how do I redeem it?

If you already have a ticket – including third-party website tickets, and gift vouchers – please proceed to our Admissions Desk where our team will help redeem your tickets or voucher.

I booked the wrong date or want to change my booking date, what do I do?

As long as you have purchased through our website our team can assist. Please either call or email our admin team, with your order number and updated date and our team can assist. Phone 03 9693 8888 or email [email protected]

If you have purchased from a third-party supplier, please contact them directly.

How do I book for a Carer/Companion?

A carer or companion ticket needs to be processed upon arrival at the Admissions desk. Please present your card to our team to process a ticket.

Can I purchase an experience only?

Show

A General Admission ticket is required to access our additional experiences including Voyager Theatre, The Edge, and VR Plank. If you already have a General Admission ticket and want to purchase an additional experience, this can be processed on arrival.

What concession cards are accepted?

We accept Australian Health Care Cards, Pension Cards, Seniors Cards, Student Cards, International Student Cards. Please present your card on the day of your arrival.

Can I book a time for the Edge in advance?

There are no bookings for the Edge, on arrival you will be place in the virtual wait queue and set up with an electronic pager. Edge wait times are known on arrival.

Can I leave and come back again on the same ticket (pass out)?

No, your ticket is only valid for a one-time entry. You cannot return on the same ticket. A Sun and Stars upgrade ticket can be purchased prior to exiting, click here for more info.  

Is there a minimum age for the Skydeck and experiences?

Show

Guests 12 years and under require a parent or guardian present. The Plank experience is not recommended for guests under the age of 8 years. If you do have concerns about this, please call our team on 03 9693 8888.

Are you Wheelchair accessible?

Yes, Melbourne Skydeck is wheelchair friendly. Our experiences including, VR Voyager Theatre, Edge Experience and VR Plank are also wheelchair accessible.

I have lost an item, what do I do?

Show

Please call our team on 03 9693 8888 or email [email protected] with details of your item.

Lost property remains on site for 30 days before being donated or disposed of and we take no responsibility for items left behind at the venue.

Is there food and drinks available?

Show

Bar 88 is located on the Skydeck and offers a range of cocktails, fine wines, coffee or soft drink and a range of gourmet pastries including pies and sausage rolls, sandwiches are also available.

What items are not permitted in the Edge?

Show

All loose items including but not limited to phones, cameras, food, drink and prams are not permitted in the Edge. Prior to your Edge ride, our team will ask you to place your items in the allocated storage area.

Can I bring in my own/external food or drinks?

Show

No external food or alcoholic beverages are permitted.

What Is Your COVID Vaccination Policy?

As of 11:59pm April 22nd, 2022, guests are no longer required to check in or show proof of vaccination status.
