Winter in Melbourne is one of our favourite times of the year and this winter there’s plenty to do by the river!

Watch the world go by at Eureka Skydeck.

As the highest public observation deck in the Southern Hemisphere, the Skydeck offers a visual panorama of Melbourne which is great fun for kids and adults alike.

And don’t forget the world’s first and only Edge Experience – a glass cube that projects out from the 88th floor and suspends visitors almost 300 meters high above Melbourne city.

The Skydeck is open from 10am-10pm daily, including school and public holidays.

Slide on into winter with Melbourne’s Variety Ice Slide.

From June 25 – July 17, the heart of Southbank will be transformed into an action packed winter wonderland when a thrilling four-metre high ice slide is set up alongside Southbank’s waterfront, allowing passers-by to experience the thrill of riding an inflatable tube on the exhilarating journey down the slide.

Plus you won’t go hungry after your experience on the Variety Ice Slide, with The Food Truck Park setting up from 11am to offer hot, fresh and tasty food.

Tickets will be $10 for three slides and can be purchased onsite.
